LA Mood Comics on the Move to New Location
L.A. Mood Comics & Games is moving its location at 350 Richmond Street in downtown London to a new location at 100 Kellogg Lane near to Old East Village. 100 Kellogg Lane is also home to The Factory adventure sports centre and will soon be home to the London Children’s Museum and other family-friendly businesses.
L.A. Mood Comics & Games opened in 1991 in its original location on King Street before moving to Dundas Street 1996 later moving to its present location on Richmond Street 2002. The store is owned by life-long comic fans Gord Mood & Carol Vandenberg who, together with their staff, aim to bring Londoners the best in comics, Magic the Gathering, board games, graphic novels, and more.
A new, modern location, convenient parking, an opportunity to increase the size of the store to accommodate more tournaments and inventory, as well as the opportunity to partner with other businesses at the new location helped spur the move.
“The new location gives us the opportunity to continue to build a community and introduce gaming to other new audiences,” said Gord Mood. “There’s a great mix of businesses at 100 Kellogg lane; we’re looking to work together with these partners to provide fun, memorable experiences for visitors and customers.”
The new store location will open on November 1st. In the meantime, the store is working to clear inventory with a special moving sale taking place now.
